The Isuzu FVZ fire command vehicle is equipped with an Isuzu 6HK1 engine with turbocharging, a displacement of 7.8 liters, a maximum power of 300 horsepower, and a maximum torque of 980N.m. At present, the 6HK1 series engines have been upgraded to the National VI emission standards, and have been installed on the latest GIGA models.
Matched with the 6HK1 engine is Fast's 9-speed manual transmission, model 9JS119TA, with a maximum input torque of 1190N.m. The transmission has a synchronizer structure, and the highest gear is an overdrive gear of 0.73. The main purpose of using domestic transmissions is to satisfy the control habits of domestic users, and Fast will not affect the quality of Isuzu. After all, repairs and maintenance are convenient, and roadside repair shops can repair the transmissions. Needless to say about the axles, Isuzu's own products have a front axle load capacity of 7 tons, a total load capacity of the rear double axle of 10+10 tons, and a standard three-axle vehicle of 27 tons. The rear axle has a speed ratio of 5.571, and combined with the 0.73 overdrive transmission, the speed ratio is 4, so the overall configuration is reasonable.
What’s interesting is that the axle configuration is different from our common 6X4 models. The axle of Isuzu's 6X4 FVZ still uses an axle product with 8 locking bolts, matched with 20-inch steel rims and 11.00-20 steel wire tires.
