This system uses the action of the condenser and evaporator to absorb and release heat by utilizing the phase change of the liquid refrigerant (from liquid to gas, absorbing heat; from gas to liquid, releasing heat) to achieve the cooling effect. In a refrigerated truck, the refrigerant releases the absorbed heat in the condenser and then dissipates the heat to the external environment through the radiator. The refrigerant becomes a high-pressure liquid and then enters the evaporator. In the evaporator, the refrigerant absorbs heat from the air passing through the evaporator, causing the air temperature to drop.
In order to maintain the freshness of the goods and prevent the loss of cold air, the van body of the Isuzu refrigerator truck has a good air circulation design. During transportation, the air circulation system continuously introduces fresh air into the van while expelling stale air from the van.
