ISUZU fire trucks, also known as ISUZU fire-fighting trucks, are special-purpose vehicles designed primarily to transport and provide firefighters and fire-fighting equipment to respond to fires and other emergencies. Such vehicles are usually equipped with various firefighting equipment and tools, such as water tanks, foam tanks, fire pumps, water guns, foam guns, etc., as well as equipment for rescue and emergency medical treatment.
The ISUZU GIGA fire truck is modified on the original ISUZU 4×2 chassis. The tanks can carry 6 cubic meters of water and 2 cubic meters of foam. The vehicle is equipped with CB10/60 fire pump, PS30 fire cannon, and is equipped with commonly used fire-fighting equipment. The ISUZU fire truck has the characteristics of strong power, good maneuverability, easy operation and long range. It is suitable for fire brigade, community streets, villages and towns, and industrial parks, campuses, enterprises, scenic spots, museums and other places.

Features of Isuzu fire trucks
1. Large-capacity water and foam tank: ISUZU GIGA fire truck is equipped with an ultra-large-capacity water tank and foam tank, which can store a large amount of water and foam to ensure long-term fire-fighting operations. This design gives the fire truck significant advantages when responding to large-scale fires.
2. High-efficiency fire pump: The vehicle is equipped with a high-performance fire pump, which can quickly pump water out of the water tank and extinguish the fire through high-pressure spray. This type of pump usually has a large pumping and spraying flow rate and can quickly control the fire.
3. Excellent mobility: Based on the ISUZU GIGA series chassis, this ISUZU fire truck has good off-road capabilities and mobility, and can quickly reach the fire scene in complex environments.
4. Versatility: In addition to its main water tank function, ISUZU fire truck can also be equipped with a foam system or other fire extinguishing media as needed. This gives the vehicle wider applicability when responding to different types of fires.
5. Safe and reliable: ISUZU GIGA fire truck is designed with operator safety in mind. The equipment on the vehicle has undergone strict quality inspection and safety testing to ensure that it can work stably and reliably in emergency situations.
6. Easy to maintain and operate: The vehicle’s operating system is designed to be simple and clear, allowing firefighters to quickly master how to use it.
The structure of the Isuzu fire truck suction pipe:
The water suction pipe of an Isuzu fire truck is a water intake hose from the pump water inlet to an open water source or fire hydrant. It is composed of a rubber layer, an interlayer and a spiral reinforcement wire. The water suction pipe can withstand negative pressure when absorbing water from open water sources, and can withstand a certain water pressure when drawing water from fire hydrants. The suction pipe joint has two connections, one is a threaded connection and the other is an internal buckle connection. A total of four 8-meter water suction pipes are installed on the roof of the Isuzu fire truck.
How to correctly use the suction pipes of an Isuzu fire truck:
1. First, park the fire truck next to the water point and try to be as close to the water source as possible to shorten the length of the suction pipes.
2. Smoothly connect the water suction pipe according to the water intake distance, one end is connected to the fire pump, and the other end is connected to the filter for water discharge.
3. Start the fire pump and vacuum pump to absorb water.
Things to note when using the suction pipes:
1. In order not to wear the aluminum interface, the water suction pipe is not allowed to be forcibly dragged to the ground;
2. Please be sure to connect the connection port properly when using it to avoid water absorption due to air leakage. When absorbing water from an open water source, set a filter at the end of the water suction pipe, and the depth of the filter from the water surface should be at least (0cm~30cm) to prevent the water surface from creating vortices and sucking in air. In addition, in order to avoid inhaling a large amount of sediment and damaging the pump, avoid contact between the water filter and the mud surface of the water source. When the water source contains a lot of sediment and garbage, please cover the water filter with a basket.
3. The laying of suction pipes should be as short and straight as possible. When using coiled suction pipes, the ISUZU fire truck can lay down all the coiled suction pipes in a good position to prevent the height of the curved part of the suction pipe from exceeding the common water port of the pump and causing an "air pocket", which affects water absorption.
4. When the suction pipe crosses the road, the ISUZU fire truck strictly prohibited from passing through it. Otherwise, the suction pipe will be crushed and no water will be sucked.
