The 16 cubic meter water tank is the largest of the three tanks and is the main source of water used to wet the area around the fire and control its spread. The tank is able to hold a large amount of water, ensuring that firefighters have a continuous water supply for hours.
The 2 cubic meter dry powder tank holds a large amount of fire extinguishing powder, which is distributed through the dry powder nitrogen system. The system uses six steel nitrogen cylinders to generate the pressure required to quickly and effectively deploy dry powder. The powder is designed to extinguish the fire by creating a barrier between the fuel and oxygen to extinguish the fire.
