Working principle and operating procedures of Isuzu tank truck
December 15, 2023
The Isuzu tank truck is a truck that transports liquids and gases. It consists of an oil tank, a chassis and a power unit. Its main purpose is to transport liquids or gases, and is often used to transport fuel, product oil, suspended liquids and compressed air.
The basic structure of an Isuzu tank truck is mainly composed of the body and the oil tank, both of which are important structural parts. The body is the main body of the tank truck. It has the ability to resist impact and durability. Its main components are the chassis, frame and brackets of the frame. It may also have suspension and shock absorbing devices, as well as for connecting the tank and the body. connectors and accessories.
An oil tank is a container that holds liquid or gas. It has the characteristics of pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance and impact resistance. Generally, oil tanks are composed of multiple cylinders, each of which is welded by thick-walled steel plates. Each oil tank also has inlets and outlets and related relief, air extraction, heating and other devices to facilitate the flow, circulation and storage of liquid or gas.
The power source of a tank truck is usually a diesel engine, which can generate enough power to drive the tank. The diesel engine transmits power to the wheels through the gearbox, allowing the tanker truck to drive on the road. The safety of oil tank trucks is very important, and its safety requires great care in selection and use. The safety of a tank truck is based on its structure, driving safety, maintenance and other aspects to ensure safety.
Oil tanker safety operating procedures
1. Isuzu tank trucks should be equipped with special fire extinguishers, and should be equipped with tow chains and lightning poles. When driving, the towing subway chain should be in contact with the ground; when refueling or draining oil, the lightning protection pole must be inserted into the wet ground.
2. The refueling hole of the oil tank should be tightly sealed, the oil drain valve and oil drain pipe should be free of leakage, the vent hole of the oil tank should be unobstructed, the oil inlet filter of the oil pump should be cleaned frequently, and the joint caps at both ends of the oil delivery hose should be installed immediately after use. No dirt should enter.
3. The carburetor and exhaust pipe of the internal combustion engine must not have backfire. The exhaust pipe should be installed in the front of the vehicle.
4. Oil tanker workers are not allowed to wear shoes with nails. Smoking is strictly prohibited near oil tanks, and fire is strictly prohibited.
5. When parking, keep away from fire sources and choose a cool place to park in hot seasons. During thunderstorms, do not park under large trees or high-voltage lines. When parking during driving, there should be dedicated personnel to supervise the vehicle.
6. During the maintenance process, if operators need to enter the oil tank, they are strictly prohibited from carrying fire, and must have reliable safety protection measures, and there must be a dedicated person monitoring outside the tank.
7. All electrical devices on the machine must be well insulated and sparks are strictly prohibited. Vehicle work lighting should be safety lights below 36V.
8. When the oil tank sedimentation tank is frozen, it is strictly forbidden to use fire to bake it. It can be melted with hot water or steam, or the car can be thawed in a greenhouse.
9. When performing maintenance and inspection under the car, the internal combustion engine should be turned off, the hand brake should be tightened, and the wheels should be firmly held.
10. When a vehicle needs to be tested after being repaired, it should be driven by a qualified person. No people or objects are allowed on the vehicle. When it needs to be tested on the road, it should have a test license issued by the traffic management department.
11. When parking on a slope, the reverse gear should be engaged when parking downhill, and the first gear should be engaged when parking uphill, and the tires should be tightened with triangular wooden wedges.
12. Mobile fuel trucks should be equipped with a special storage shed. The shed should be far away from fire sources, and obvious fire prohibition signs and fire-extinguishing equipment should be installed.
13. Refuelers are not allowed to smoke during refueling operations, and smokers are strictly prohibited from approaching the oil tank. Open flames are prohibited within 5 meters around fuel trucks and tanks. Refueling is strictly prohibited during thunderstorms.
14. During the operation of mobile refueling trucks, once diesel leakage occurs, the leakage location should be immediately inspected and emergency treatment should be carried out. At the same time, clean up leaked diesel to avoid fires caused by open flames. After an emergency occurs, the diesel fuel truck should be inspected as a whole to eliminate hidden dangers before normal operations can be carried out.
