Functional introduction and structural composition of Isuzu truck-mounted crane
December 18, 2023
Isuzu truck-mounted crane is a kind of cargo equipment installed on ordinary trucks. It integrates lifting and transportation. It overcomes the shortcomings of truck cranes that can only lift but not transport and ordinary trucks that can only transport but not transport. The shortcomings of lifting are eliminated, and the operating systems of the truck-mounted crane and the truck are completely separated. Therefore, the Isuzu truck-mounted crane can realize lifting operations without affecting the cargo transportation of the car chassis. It can replace small and medium-sized truck cranes under many working conditions. It has attracted more and more attention and has gradually become an important role in related industries such as lifting and transportation.
Isuzu truck-mounted cranes have outstanding features of mobility and flexibility and are generally used in the lifting and transportation industry. However, they can be equipped with a variety of auxiliary tools. Through the configuration of auxiliary tools, the shortcomings of a single function of the truck-mounted crane are changed, and the function of the truck-mounted crane is diversified. It has developed in the direction of refined application and humanized operation, thus having a broader application field.
Auxiliary tools are mainly installed on the head of the boom, such as working buckets, grab buckets, aerial work platforms, various grabbers, clamps, hanging baskets, augers, plate forks, tire rotating manipulators, etc., giving the truck-mounted crane a The multi-purpose function of the machine makes it widely used in other workplaces, such as high-altitude operations, bridge or power station maintenance, wood handling, bulk cargo shipping, urban greening, high-altitude wiring, municipal engineering construction, etc. It can even be used for traffic accident rescue, application Very extensive.
Product structure
According to the different positions of the truck-mounted crane relative to the car cab and cargo box, the truck-mounted crane can be divided into three layout types: front, middle and rear.
The Isuzu front-mounted truck-mounted crane is installed between the car cab and the cargo box (as shown in Figure (a)). This type can make full use of the cargo box area and ensure that the lifting arm can reach all positions of the cargo box within the allowed extension length and corresponding movement conditions. In addition, because the hydraulic pump is installed closer to the car engine, the hydraulic transmission efficiency is higher than other types. Therefore, this type is the most widely used.
The Isuzu center-mounted truck crane is installed in the middle of the car trunk (as shown in Figure (b)). The characteristics of this type are that the lifting arm is short, the axle load distribution is easy to meet the design requirements, and the center of gravity of the original vehicle can be basically maintained. However, because the truck-mounted crane is arranged in the middle of the cargo box, the utilization rate of the cargo box area is reduced, so There are few practical applications and it is only suitable for long wheelbase trucks.
The Isuzu rear-mounted truck-mounted crane is installed at the rear of the car cargo box (as shown in Figure (c)). This arrangement is more suitable for freight vehicles with a drawbar trailer attached to the rear, so that they can be combined into a drawbar trailer train or a freight train. It is characterized by high utilization of the cargo box area, and the lifting arm can complete the loading and unloading operations between the truck and the trailer: However, because this arrangement places the truck-mounted crane at the rear of the truck box, it has adverse effects It changes the axle load distribution of the original vehicle, making the vehicle's maneuverability worse.
