Precautions for safe operation of Isuzu truck-mounted cranes
December 19, 2023
Isuzu truck-mounted crane is a commonly used lifting equipment, widely used in construction, transportation, ports and other industries, and plays an important role. It is efficient, convenient and flexible. It can arrive at the site quickly and perform quick hoisting operations, greatly improving the efficiency of construction. Compared with traditional cranes, truck-mounted cranes have smaller volume and weight and do not require additional lifting equipment, saving cost and space. However, if safety precautions are not paid attention to during use, safety accidents may occur. Therefore, this article will introduce the safe operating procedures for truck-mounted cranes to avoid dangers caused by improper operation.
1. Only those who have received operational training may use and operate the crane.
2. Do not leave the console while the load is being lifted or the crane is operating.
3. Do not enter the operating range of the crane without the operator's permission.
4. When lifting, it is strictly prohibited to operate both mechanisms at the same time.
5. It is prohibited to operate in the area marked "No Hoisting Area"; try to avoid operating in the area marked "Poor Stability Operating Area".
6. In order to distribute the load evenly, do not operate the crane in ditches or soft or collapsed ground. When working on soft or collapsed ground, you must place a support plate (such as a wooden block, iron plate, etc.) between the legs and the ground to increase the load-bearing area.
7. The operator should roughly know the weight of the lifting load and cannot exceed the load value calibrated on the crane performance curve chart.
8. Use steering controls on one side of the load to ensure maximum visibility of the load.
9. It is prohibited to stand under lifting objects.
10. The load is not allowed to be at an angle when lifting to ensure that the load is safe and secure.
11. It is not allowed to drag or tilt loads, and it is not allowed to lift heavy objects buried in the ground or frozen on the ground. 12. When the load just leaves the ground, make sure there are no obstacles in the direction of travel of the load.
13. When the mass of the goods lifted by the crane is equal to or less than 2/3 of the maximum lifting mass at the corresponding working range when the arm length is in the horizontal position, the telescopic arm is allowed to retract (the direction in which the entire boom becomes shorter) ), but extension is not allowed.
14. When the mass of the goods lifted by the crane is equal to or less than 2/3 of the maximum lifting mass of the crane, the telescopic arm is allowed to extend (the direction in which the entire boom becomes longer) or retract.
15. Use ropes to guide the load at a certain distance to prevent the load from rotating.
16. It is strictly prohibited to use cranes to lift people.
17. Before starting the lifting operation, be sure to check whether the lifting device (rope, hook, chain or belt) is safely designed and meets the requirements of the goods you are lifting. For insurance and safety, the goods should be firmly fixed.
18. The crane must be fully retracted and locked before moving the vehicle.
